Yo Yo Yo!

Yo G what's shakin? yeah I totally got your packet. And Diana and Serge loved the stuff! ha they send you big "Merci!!" They're great This week we had District conference (like stake conference) and it was way cool, Serge was asked to give his testimony, and it was so cool. He was saying that when he was in france he biked alot, like professionally, and he decided to stop smoking, just for himself, he did it for a year and then took it back up. He said that when the missionaries exlained to him the word of wisdom there were 5 things that they told him to avoid Tea Coffee Alcohol Cigarettes and Drugs, and then he said "and I'd done them all" But after reading the book of mormon and finding a testimony he was able to quit, but he had a moment of weakness before his baptism and he slipped, he had to have a second Interview with President Minardin and he asked him "Well Serge, what do we do?" He Chose do do the baptism and it was great. But then a couple weeks after that baptism his cousin was over and when no one was looking he slipped again. Diana came back and kissed him and she asked "did you smoke?" he admitted and she was awesome, she said "Baby, that's not something that you can just go into the bedroom and pray and repent. You need to talk to the branch president" So he talked to the branch president and he repented, and he made a promise in front of all those people that he wouldn't ever do it agian. That takes some real guts. He's the best.Oh so elder Fernandes and I are staying together in the Gosier, so that's cool, we are getting two new missionaries here on guadeloupe Bushman and Goff I think, not sure though, it's all cool. Other than that Serge and Diana came teaching with us for the first time, and they really did perfectly, better than most members who have been teaching with the missionaries for a really long time. Like it's almost like they'd been studing preach my gospel. It was so cool! We were teaching a woman named Madame Moysan, and she said that she has searched for the true church but was really decieved by the way the leaders in a certain church acted. So she gave up. And now she is reading the book of mormon, and she said to us that she didn't really feel anything while reading (by the way she understands what she reads which is rare) but after the testimonies of Serge and Diana she was almost Crying and said that she had felt something while reading, that the book of mormon teaches the same thing as the bible but in a simpler way, it was a lesson that makes you want to serve a mission like the sons of mosiah, 14 years! hahaha but really it was so sweet. The spirit was SO strong! I loved itOther than that not too much is new, it's starting to get hot again and all that stuff so I'm gettin prepared ha, oh yes and I made a hammock, it's sweet.I would have sent you some photos but this computer is being 100 percent NUL! so next week you'll get some sweet ones!
