Happy Last Week of April

Hey! This week was pretty good. it was my first full week with elder Heiner. Tuesday we had our CEP which is the weekly meeting with the branch presidency and the elders quorum presidency. Our branch president it kind of...a party pooper. haha to say the least. He's odd. but anyway The members here are great. I have never been fed so much. I think I've already gained a Kilo! Other than that we have been working alot with inactives. going to see them with members and stuff. it's way cool.


OH so we were contacting in a park and we saw this indian looking dude writing on a huge posterboard and we go over there to talk to him and we ask him what he was doing. Turns out he was writing Bible references. (oh and by the way I am only understanding 30 percent of what this guy is saying becuase his indian accent is so crazy) but he was saying that his dad was a pastor and that he knew the bible. So Heiner asks him "ok what's in amos 3:7" and he thinks for a second and starts muttering to himself and then spits out "for surely the lord god will do nothing save he revele his secret to his servants the prophets" it was incredible! so then heiner asks him "ok what's james 1:5?" and he thinks for a minute and says "if any among you lack wisdom let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally" and we were blown away, it was so crazy.


Oh yes Heiner tells me that he has never seen the branch president work with missionaries. So we decided to hit him with what we like to call "the love sick" every week Heiner and I do somthing super nice for him and then also the other team does something super nice for him. So hopefully he'll come out and work with us. That would be sweet. This week we went and made brownies for his family and I think they washed his car. hopefully the love stick will knock some sense into him haha


Other than that it was an ok week. Zone conference is on the 6th and so we'll be flying to Guadeloupe for that. Oh and Elder Fernandes sprained his ankle really bad and can't do anything for 3 weeks! that stinks seeing as how he was training another missionary! ha


Other than things are good.
